Gary Hobbs

About

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Gary Hobbs is a latin singer. 2) Gary Hobbs is an accomplished modern drummer specializing in jazz. Gary Hobbs--the Tejano singer--lives in Eagle Pass, Texas and is known as "El Borrado del Eagle Pass." This nickname is based on his eye color; oddly "borrar" means "to erase." Gary can play the accordion as well. Te Vas a Acordar is one of his most popular CD's. He's one of the few non-Hispanic singers in the Tejano industry, but his grandmother was Mexican-American and he speaks fluent Spanish. Gary is a devout Methodist, and his daughter sings gospel music on Gary's new record label. Listen at Last.fm
