Rinzen is an electronic artist from Los Angeles seeking to build entire worlds with his music. Dedicated to the pursuit of wonder, Rinzen combines cinematic sound design and forward-thinking techno production to create something that is downright awe-inspiring. <br><br> Rinzen, which means “sudden awakening” in Japanese, was formed in early 2017. In the time since, Rinzen has released two EPs on mau5trap and provided official remixes for the likes of deadmau5, Giorgio Moroder, and Kidnap. <br><br> His concept EPs have been lauded by everyone from Mixmag to DJ Mag, with Billboard hailing his 2017 debut Forbidden City as “a sonic exploration of human depth.” Meanwhile, his otherworldly club tracks have been supported by DJs as diverse as Lane 8 and Above & Beyond to Patrice Baumel and Hernan Cattaneo. <br><br> With forthcoming releases on some of Europe’s most coveted house and techno imprints, Rinzen is quickly finding a global audience for his burgeoning project.
