About

With the release of the debut EP in May 2005, and a full length live album in June 2006, Scotty Isaacs, and his band, Traveler, developed a sound defining the genre of "Dream Rock" mixing British/Euro-Rock and Indie-Pop. Traveler gained tremendous exposure throughout their home region in the South (TX, OK, AR, LA), and in New York after being named "Best Pop/Rock Band" and one of six named "Best of the Best Bands" at the 2005 New York Film and Music Festival. Just before relocating to Dallas, TX in 2009, Scotty recorded the single, “I Would,” with Grammy Award winning recording engineer Matt Pence. The single was co-produced by Mark Pirro, bass player for The Polyphonic Spree and Tripping Daisy. After taking time away from performing to write and restructure Scotty transitioned from "Traveler" and the "Dream Rock" genre to "Scotty Isaacs" and a genre of "Alternative Folk / Singer/Songwriter." In 2013 Scotty played nearly 200 shows and gigs all over Texas and Oklahoma. 2014 looks even stronger with an upcoming album due to release in the summer.
