1-Night Projects: Mugs

Spend your Saturday evening getting creative with clay in this fun, one-night handbuilding pottery class where we'll make a ceramic mug, perfect for coffee and tea! Keep it traditional with a handle or make it a with a lid! Good to Know: Will likely result in friends asking you where they can get one No experience needed — perfect for beginners Ages 14 and up Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy In this beginner-friendly pottery class, your instructor will guide you step by step through the basics of ceramic hand-building techniques — shaping, sculpting, and assembling your clay into a finished form. Once your piece is complete, you’ll choose from a selection of glazes to personalize it. After class, we’ll glaze and fire it for you in our kiln, and your finished work will be ready for pickup in about 2–3 weeks. Whether you keep your piece as a special handmade ceramic keepsake or give it as a thoughtful gift, you’ll leave with a sense of accomplishment — and a new appreciation for the art of handmade ceramics.
