2026 Empty Bowls Luncheon, Denton, TX

Empty Bowls of Denton is a non-profit organization that has been fighting hunger in the Denton community since 2000. It is a ministry of Christ The Servant Lutheran Church in Denton, TX. This is our 27th year hosting an Empty Bowls Fundraiser in Denton! Every October, Empty Bowls holds a fundraising luncheon where ticket-holders select a handcrafted artisan bowl of their choice which symbolizes the "Empty" bowls of those without enough to eat. Ticket holders are served a simple lunch of bread and soup. Local restaurants donate the soup and the bread. Local artists donate the handcrafted ceramic, wood, and glass bowls.
