Please join us for an evening of music and literature to celebrate the launch of one of the 21st century's most audacious literary projects. From Texas-based poet, experimentalist, and Recluse regular - Christian McDonough - comes an attempt to overcome the self. Written over the course of four weeks, our narrator, also named Christian McDonough, excavates his history and reckons with his upbringing. Cunus is a psychedelic odyssey through the strange and sublime that paints a portrait of a young man who may save the world, if he doesn't choose to end it instead. The Cunus Response Project is a collection of responses to the book, filled with hilarious takedowns and revelatory analyses, the Response Project takes the original work and turns it inside out, only to reveal what has been with us all along.
