Arturo’s Art & Me is for a 3 to 5 year old and a favorite grown-up. Adults and young children listen to a story, look at works of art, and play hands-on games in the galleries before creating an original work of art in the studio. Class size is limited to 12 children. Horns, wings, tails—oh, my! This May, find real and imaginary creatures in the artworks and find out what makes each one unique. In the studio, use mixed media materials to create a hybrid friend of your own. Adults and younger siblings do not need a ticket. When classes are filled, email familyprograms@dma.org to be placed on the waiting list.
