But the eye-popping digital wizardry doesn't eclipse sensational comic performances from Streep, Hawn, and Willis, who create a hilariously offbeat love triangle under Zemeckis' stylish direction, and Alan Silvestri's urgently over-the-top score is the perfect frosting on this bittersweet cake.
