Family Workshop: Lots of Layers

Family Workshops are for children ages 6–12 and their favorite grown-ups. Explore the galleries, engage in artful conversations, and try hands-on games as a family before creating a work of art in the studio. Class size is limited to 15 children. In our August class, we’ll learn all about the art of collaboration as we investigate the Brand X team and their process in the X Marks the Spot exhibition. In the studio, you’ll work together to layer colors and textures while creating your own dynamic prints. Adults and younger siblings do not need a ticket. When classes are filled, email familyprograms@dma.org to be placed on the waiting list.
