Finesse Mitchell is one of today’s most talented and versatile comedians, with a career that spans stand-up, television, and film. A former Saturday Night Live cast member, he’s known for his hilarious characters like Starrkeisha, 50 Cent, and Morgan Freeman. Finesse’s comedic talent has taken him across the stage and screen, making him a familiar face and voice in entertainment. He’s guest-hosted The Wendy Williams Show on Fox alongside Kym Whitley, appeared as a guest judge on Netflix’s hit Is It Cake?, and showcased his acting prowess in projects like Disney Channel’s A.N.T. Farm (as China’s Dad, now streaming on Disney+), NBC’s Kenan, Fox’s Outmatched, I Can See Your Voice, and several films including Who’s Your Caddy and Mad Money. Additionally, he starred in OWN’s holiday movie The Great Holiday Bake War, Showtime’s Roadies, and TBS’s Meet The Browns. Finesse has also made memorable appearances on late-night TV, including The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Seth Meyers, The Arsenio Hall Show, and Comic’s Unleashed. On stage, he’s shared the bill with comedy legends like Dave Chappelle, Jo Koy, Tisha Campbell, and Matt Rife. He’s the creator of four acclaimed comedy specials: Snap Famous, One Man Monster, Showtime’s The Spirit Told Me To Tell You, and his 2025 self-produced Slightly Offensive, now streaming on 800 Pound Gorilla Media’s YouTube channel. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Finesse is a proud graduate of the University of Miami and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. A former standout athlete, he was a walk-on for the University of Miami Hurricanes, playing alongside NFL legends like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Warren Sapp, and Ray Lewis. Finesse launched his comedy career in 1999 with appearances on BET’s Comic View and Comedy Central, and has since become a beloved voice in comedy and entertainment.

<p>Fresh off of the 2013 Shaq All-Star Comedy Jam tour, Finesse Mitchell shined as a featured performer on the SHAQ All-Star one-hour comedy special taped in Atlanta, GA which recently aired on SHOWTIME. His frequent appearances on Bethenny or The Arsenio Hall Show keeps Finesse’s humor on TV day and night. A Saturday Night Live alum, Finesse Mitchell, a versatile actor and comedian, also plays China’s Dad, “Darryl” on the hit Disney show, “A.N.T Farm”, now in its third season. And Mitchell’s TV work ramps up even more in 2014 as he is slated to host the Game Show Network’s “Who’s The Imposter” and B.E.T. Centric’s new show, “According To HIM and HER”. Mitchell has had numerous appearances on NBC’s Today show and has been seen on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, TBS “Who Gets The Last Laugh”, Fox dating show “The Choice”, VH-1 hit show “Single Ladies” as “Jobari”, B.E.T “Comic View”, “Tyra”, Ricki Lake, Jeff Probst, “Comedy Central Presents” and Tyler Perry’s “Meet The Browns”. His feature film work includes “Who’s your Caddy”, “The Comebacks”, “Mad Money” and the upcoming “Barely Lethal” which also stars Samuel L. Jackson and Jessica Alba which is set for a 2014 release.</p> <p>Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Finesse graduated from the University of Miami and is a distinguished member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated. He is also a former student-athlete who was a walk-on for the National Champion Hurricanes football team and played with such UM alumni as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Super bowl champion, Warren Sapp. His book, “Your Girlfriends Only Know So Much: A Brother’s Take on Dating and Mating for Sistas” (2007) is an advice book for women. It was born out of his hip, hilarious and widely popular monthly advice column for ESSENCE Magazine.</p>
