Gregg Araki closes out his Teenage Apocalypse Trilogy with his absurdist " Beverly Hills 90210 on acid" rave-up, NOWHERE. James Duval stars as Dark, an average college freshman dealing with typical teenage problems – like his fatalistic depression, trying to navigate an open relationship instigated by his girlfriend Mel (Rachel True) and her girlfriend Lucifer (Kathleen Robertson), his own emerging bisexuality, and that alien he keeps seeing vaporize his classmates. With a star-studded cast, some of the most gorgeously mindbending production design this side of a Tumblr gifset, and a soundtrack so expensive that the film has yet to ever be released on DVD or streamed in America, if you’ve ever seen THE DOOM GENERATION and thought it was a lot , just wait until you see NOWHERE.
