$30.00 Table, $20.00 Bar Virtuoso guitarist and composer Oz Noy has built a distinctive voice in contemporary music with his electrifying fusion of jazz, funk, rock, blues, and R&B—what he calls, “Jazz—it just doesn’t sound like it.” Born in Israel, he began his professional career at 13 and quickly rose to prominence, becoming a leading guitarist and in-demand session player by his early 20s. After relocating to New York City in 1996, Oz immersed himself in the global music scene, collaborating with top-tier artists and developing his signature groove-driven, genre-blending style. His debut album Oz Live! (2003) introduced his sound, followed by the acclaimed Ha! (2005). Subsequent releases, including Fuzzy, Schizophrenic, and the Twisted Blues series, showcased his versatility and featured collaborations with renowned musicians across jazz and rock. Oz has continued to evolve through projects like Who Gives A Funk, Booga Looga Loo, and Snapdragon, as well as his trio Ozone Squeeze. His live performances and global festival appearances have earned widespread acclaim. In addition to performing, Oz is a respected educator, offering masterclasses and instructional content. His innovative approach and extensive collaborations have solidified his reputation as one of today’s most original and influential guitarists.

Israeli-born guitarist Oz Noy is a progressive and iconoclastic artist who incorporates a wide array of styles into his own work, including funk, rock, blues, and jazz. Having performed from a young age, Noy was an in-demand studio musician by his early twenties. A move to New York City in 1996 eventually led to tours and session work with such artists as Chris Botti, Toni Braxton, Jeff "Tain" Watts, and others.
