About
Join us on Sunday 6/7 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm to say goodbye to the Golden Pegasus sculpture at the Goldmark Cultural Center! Titled “Visions of Glory: Past and Present”, this 25 year old fiberglass and wood sculpture is being relocated for permanent display at the Plaza of the Americas building in downtown Dallas, and the farewell party will be the last opportunity to view and enjoy it at the Goldmark Cultural Center, where it has been a fixture of the front lobby in Building 14001 since 2020. Enjoy light refreshments and meet Goldmark artist Gwynn Getto, who was part of a team of 5 Dallas women artists who originally created the sculpture in 2001 as part of the Dallas Soars! public art project for the City of Dallas. Gwynn will share about the history and background of the sculpture as part of this final sendoff. Free admission and parking. 14001 Goldmark Dr, Dallas TX 75240.
