Meet Mata Amritanandamayai, Amma, one of the world’s most accessible humanitarian and spiritual leaders. Amma, known as India’s Hugging Saint, is revered throughout the world for transforming the lives of millions of people one embrace at a time. In the past 40 years, Amma has physically hugged and comforted over 34 million people. For the first time ever in Snohomish County, Amma will offer five free public program at XFINITY Arena. In addition to daily sessions, DEVI BHAVA on June 1 is a special program devoted to World Peace. Amma will receive guests who have tokens for an embrace, which lasts all night into the next morning. Many stay the entire time to be in the uplifting atmosphere and to enjoy the devotional singing. Please arrive by 5:30 pm to receive your token to meet Amma. Tokens are free and given on a first come, first serve basis.
