About
We’ve gone plaid! Visit sensory stations in the galleries, create your own bold artwork, and play with special guests from the community as we learn about pattern, shape, color, and symbolism in art. Sensory Explorations is a free event for families with children of all ages who are on the autism spectrum. Families can connect with artworks in the galleries, play and learn with special guests, and get creative with hands-on art-making experiences. While the needs of individuals with autism are the focus of this event, it is also intended to be fun for parents, siblings (of all ages), and other friends and relatives! Check back soon for more information. American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation may be provided during this event upon advance request. Please send us an email for more information. Questions? Email or call 817.989.5012.
