Squirrel Sessions Winner K.Avett: Live Show and Recording

Free with RSVP Join us for our first Squirrel Sessions live concert with K.Avett! The Squirrel Sessions is our search for original music and the people who live for it. Not the most polished, produced, or followed. The most real. Artists submit one original song, performed live in a single take, with a squirrel somewhere in the frame. Selected artists earn a live performance at Windmills, an on-stage interview, and a professionally produced episode to share with the world. About K.Avett: K.Avett (pronounced "Kay Uh Vet") is a Texas-based soul, R&B, and jazz artist, songwriter, and Registered Nurse. A SoulTracks Indie Soul Award winner, she gained international acclaim with her debut album Revelations and her UK Soul Chart-topping album Lioness. Known for emotionally honest storytelling and rich production, her recent hit singles include Peace For Me and Always Tomorrow. Beyond the studio, K.Avett founded Waxahachie’s annual Summer Soul Affair festival, made a successful UK performing debut, and is developing the Rhythm & Moods intimate concert series—continuing to inspire, uplift, and connect audiences worldwide.

Streamlined microbrewery & international eatery featuring regular live music & patio seating.
