In this hands-on course, you'll explore how to build compelling dialogues in 2D artworks by flipping through vintage magazines and found materials. Quickly, you'll see these papers of the past make it easy to spark controversy in the artworks you'll be making. You'll learn fine art techniques for composition, cutting, gluing, and finishing. In each class we will learn about several collage artists and/or techniques, providing a base for inspiration along with lots of time for creating collages.
