Sublime are an American reggae rock and ska punk band from Long Beach, California, formed in 1988.
Iration is an alternative/reggae group of musicians formed in Isla Vista, CA. A deep-rooted reggae influence is fused with elements of rock and pop to create smooth original sounds that keep listeners’ feet moving, hands swaying and hearts beating – “We’re all about luv”, states the band. The group is made up of members Joseph Dickens (Drums), Joseph King (Engineer), Cayson Peterson (Keyboard/Synth), Micah Pueschel (Guitar/ Vocals), and Adam Taylor (Bass). All members met while growing up in Hawaii but formed Iration after reconnecting in Santa Barbara, CA. They have since released three full-length albums, Automatic (2013), Time Bomb (2010) and No Time for Rest (2007), as well as three EP’s, Fresh Grounds (2011), Sample This (2008), and New Roots (2006). Time Bomb, remains within the top 20 on Billboard’s Reggae Album Chart to this day. Their third full-length album, Automatic, the band’s most recent work which debuted on Billboard’s Top 200 chart, is described as forging a truly unique listening experience by crossing genre boundaries, fusing reggae with fresh pop and rock influences. The album also includes additional production and instrumentation from Lincoln Parish of Cage the Elephant, as well as the band’s previous studio partner JP Hesser of Castaway 7 Studios in Ventura CA. Both albums contain tracks that have reached the #1 position on several alternative radio stations. The group has been touring nationally since 2008, performing at: Lollapalooza, McDowell Mountain Music Festival, Wakarusa, Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, Sunset Strip Music Festival etc. The band has headlined several successful national club/theater tours with multiple sold-out shows throughout the country from Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theater, to St. Petersburg’s Jannus Live. The Hawaiian-bred musicians look forward to spreading their original sound and Aloha spirit all the while never forgetting to get a surf in when possible.
Following the 1996 heroin overdose of Sublime frontman Brad Nowell, surviving bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh formed the Long Beach Dub Allstars with singer Opie Ortiz, guitarists RAS-1 and Miguel, keyboardist Jack Maness, keyboardist Isaiah Owens, saxophonists Todd Foreman and Tim Wu, and DJ Marshall Goodman. After appearing on a series of compilations and tribute albums, the group issued its full-length debut Right Back on DreamWorks in the fall of 1999.
The Ataris are four friends creating words and music in the basements and dive bars of the world, while young souls pile into the microphone and spill beer into our effects pedals. Honest stories and organic sounds, chock full of heart, sincerity and beautiful mistakes. Played loud and recorded to analog tape. Sixteen years of traveling the world, several broken down vans and five full length studio albums. The Ataris album "So Long, Astoria" included the tracks "In This Diary" and "The Saddest Song" and sold upwards of 850,000 copies earning the band it's first gold record. The Ataris' singer/songwriter Kristopher Roe released his first full length solo acoustic album "Hang Your Head in Hope" in November 2011. All songs were recorded in one take, no edits, no overdubs, using vintage 1940's ribbon microphones and a 1948 Gibson J-45 guitar. The album contains familiar tracks stripped down as well as a several brand new songs which will later appear on The Ataris forthcoming album "The Graveyard of the Atlantic" in actual full band arrangements. "Hang Your Head in Hope" is available FREE of charge only from The Ataris' Bandcamp page. Donations are welcome and very much appreciated. The Ataris are currently finishing up vocals for their new album "The Graveyard of the Atlantic". Two brand new tracks from the album are available also available exclusively on our Bandcamp page. The album will be released on the Gainesville, Florida label Paper + Plastick. An actual release date will be announced here once the vocals have been completed and the remaining songs are mixed. That is ALL. Thank you. See you all on tour.
The Bad Brains are one of the most underrated rock bands of last 15-20 years, notorious for breaking up right when it seems that they could conquer the world. The regulated, temperamental roar of their thrashier punk songs coupled with their radically contrasting junkets into dub and reggae have forever raised them to an untouchable, almost god-like musical plateau. The lofty convictions that often put off the masses from "hardcore" do not hold for the Bad Brains who get away with their Rastafarian and overtly political views. "PMA" (Positive Mental Attitude) is the overriding philosophy of the Bad Brains trip taken from the Napoleon Hill Book "Think and Grow Rich"- it can also be translated into standing up against wrongs that need to be righted. It goes without saying that the Bad Brains shattered musical, cultural and racial barriers.

The band started playing jazz fusion together in 1976 under the name Mind Power. In 1979 a friend (Sid Mc Cray) of the band introduced Darryl Jennifer to bands like the Dead Boys, Ramones, Sex Pistols and the Damned. This forever transformed the band. They coupled their new found love of the ëpunk rock' with their musical prowess and the underground has never been the same since. This radical transformation in 1979 became the ëOmega Sessions' in 1980, the band's first multi-track recording session. The Bad Brains introduction to punk would provide the seed that created one of the most important hardcore/punk scenes in history- Washington DC. This scene spawned first bands for Ian Mac Kaye (Minor Threat, later Fugazi) and Henry Rollins (SOA,later Black Flag then Rollins Band).
