About
Thursday June 18, 2026 6:00 PM Directed by Terry Loane, 2025 63 minutes A singer’s voice—and identity—evolve in this raw, lyrical journey through gender transition, loss, and self-discovery. British artist Dylan Holloway, formerly known as Lots Holloway, stepped away from the spotlight during the 2020 lockdown to begin his gender transition. Once a rising star on the UK’s X-Factor, Dylan now faces a profound personal and professional crossroads: hormone therapy could irreversibly change the voice that once defined his career. Blending candid video diaries, family footage, and intimate interviews, Tomorrow’s Too Late traces Dylan’s early life, his struggle with identity, and the emotional toll of life lived in public. At once a music documentary and a deeply moving portrait of trans experience, the film captures the courage it takes to risk everything in pursuit of an authentic self. Beyond the Festival is a film series where we invite you to delve into a world of storytelling that transcends the annual Lone Star Film Festival, held each fall. Each month, this series features a selection of narrative and documentary films crafted by innovative and talented filmmakers, offering a glimpse into diverse perspectives and creative visions. Join us as we build anticipation for the upcoming festival—and beyond! Admission is free and open to the public. The Lone Star Film Festival, ranked as a “Top 50 Film Festival” by MovieMaker Magazine, has grown into a premier destination for filmmakers, producers, industry professionals, and film enthusiasts. The festival takes place in the Fort Worth Cultural District; screenings are held at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and the Kimbell Art Museum, with other events at the Crescent Hotel, Bowie House, and Hotel Dryce.
