US Steinholding Association Qualifier Round

Crystal Springs Hideaway is now one of a select number of Texas venues hosting qualifying events for the @ussteinholding U.S. Steinholding Association National Steinholding Championship. Participants will test their strength and endurance by holding a full one-liter stein straight out, parallel to the ground. The rules are simple: no bending the elbow, no spilling the beer and no leaning. The last person standing with proper form wins. Crystal Springs Hideaway will host four qualifying rounds scheduled for August 13, 20, 27 and Sept 3. The male and female winners from each round will advance to the Local Final to be held at Fort Worth Oktoberfest in Trinity Park on Thursday, September 24. The winner of the Local Final will represent Fort Worth at the Texas Steinholding State Championship Finals during Wurstfest in New Braunfels on November 15. From there, state champions will compete at the U.S. Steinholding Association National Steinholding Championship at the Cincinnati Lager House in Cincinnati, Ohio, November 21. Prizes Winners of each qualifying round will receive tickets to Fort Worth Oktoberfest 2026, a Crystal Springs Hideaway Gift Card and swag. Winners of the Local Final at Fort Worth Oktoberfest will receive a one-night stay in New Braunfels for the Texas Steinholding State Championship Finals at Wurstfest courtesy of Crystal Springs Hideaway. If they advance to the U.S. Steinholding National Steinholding Championship, Crystal Springs Hideaway will also provide a one-night stay in Cincinnati where contestants will compete for a $4,000 prize.
