Third Saturdays of the month at 7:30 pm, Stomping Ground presents VERSUS!. VERSUS! is a fast-paced, high-energy improv competition show where nobody wins. Two teams face off in a series of hilariously pointless challenges and to add an extra layer of delightful unpredictability, we’ve got the Wheel of Challenges! This isn’t your typical improv competition. Yes we have two teams, and they’ll be going head-to-head in improv short-form games and even sillier physical events, but the real battle is against the absurd, the unexpected, and the sheer ridiculousness of the challenges we throw their way. Sure, there are points–but the points don’t matter–because a spin of the wheel and the team players might swap and even trade scores! This is VERSUS! – a celebration of pure, unadulterated comedic mayhem. VERSUS! features a rotating cast of Dallas’ best improvisers: Peyton Reed, Brandon Enriquez, James Johnson II, Parker Coppins, Keith Jordan, SJ Richman, Hayden McGovern, Hannah Sligar, and Daniel Foster. VERSUS! is directed by Greg Mihalik. Rated T for Teen (Parental Discretion Advised). Ticket prices are $10 (plus fees) in advance and $14 at the door. Stomping Ground is BYOB. Alcoholic beverages are allowed for all attendees over 21 years old; patrons are asked to enjoy them responsibly.
