Sunday, May 31, 10:30 a.m.–noon Founders Room Free; registration required Each May, in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Dallas Museum of Art partners with community organizations to spotlight the importance of mental health through programs and gallery activations. Join Stefanie Tovar, Founder and CEO of Yena—a nonprofit devoted to cultivating love, joy, and intentional pathways to wellness—as we close Mental Health Awareness Month with Art and Alchemy at the Dallas Museum of Art. Together, we will explore the DMA’s permanent collection through a guided tour, in-gallery activities, and guided movement exercises in the Founders Room. Activities will include mindful journaling, breathwork, art making, and more. All materials will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their personal journals and yoga mats, and to arrive dressed in clothing that allows for movement. Recommended for ages 15+.
