LovePlanit ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered live events discovery and planning platform for the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. This policy explains what information we collect when you use loveplanit.ai, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it in plain English. Information we collect
When you create an account and use LovePlanit, we collect:
- Account information: your email address and, optionally, your name.
- Taste preferences: the categories, vibes, and other preferences you provide during onboarding and through ongoing use.
- Event activity: events you save, mark as attending, attend, rate, or interact with — plus inputs you provide to features like the Date Night Planner and Squads.
- Chat history: messages you send to our AI assistants so we can maintain context within a conversation and improve recommendations over time.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages viewed) and aggregated analytics about how the site is used.
How we use your information
- To operate your account and authenticate you.
- To build and update your AI Taste Profile so recommendations get more accurate the more you use the app.
- To power features like personalized event feeds, the Date Night Planner, Squads, the event chat assistant, and the Best Price Finder.
- To send transactional emails (account verification, invites) and, if you opt in, event digests.
- To monitor service quality, debug issues, and prevent abuse.
Third-party services we use
We rely on the following providers. Each handles only the data needed to deliver its piece of the service, under their own privacy practices:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI processing for recommendations, chat, and planning features
- Google Places — nearby restaurants, parking, and venue context
- Resend — transactional and digest email delivery
- Vercel — site hosting and basic analytics
- DoStuff Media & Ticketmaster — public event data we display
- Impact.com — affiliate-link attribution when you click through to a ticketing partner
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to measure basic, aggregated site usage. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings. Signing out will clear your session.
Your choices and rights
- Access and edit: your profile and preferences are editable from your profile page.
- Delete your account: email info@loveplanit.ai and we'll delete your account and associated data within a reasonable timeframe.
- Unsubscribe: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (e.g. account verification) cannot be opted out of while you have an active account.
- Export: contact us to request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data on a rolling schedule from our active systems and backups.
Children
LovePlanit is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date above and, if the changes are material, give you reasonable notice.
